Beer Tours and Beer Travel for Beer Lovers

Arrive in Bruges, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. After boarding the barge, enjoy lunch on board before we head off to visit Westvleteren, where monks brew what is widely acclaimed as “the best beer in the world”. Here we will taste their famous beer in their In de Vrede pub as well as visit the Claustrum- an exhibition room about the monks’ life in the abbey. We then will take a short ride over to De Dolle Brouwers where we will take a guided tour of the brewery followed by, of course, a tasting of their famous Oerbier. Having succeeded at starting out the trip with a proper happy hour, we head back to our barge for a chance to unpack and enjoy our welcome aboard dinner. After dinner relax on the barge, head into town to explore on your own or join your beer guide for a beer hunting expedition (this could be visiting an historic pub or searching the well stocked local shops for rare and unique beers to sample or add to your collection.)
